Portsmouth

Portsmouth, historic naval port on the south coast of England, is one of the major tourist destinations of the UK. Home to the world renowned historic ships - Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior - Portsmouth is the centre of one of the most important naval and defense heritage regions of Europe. Alongside the heritage areas are a major seaside resort (Southsea) and the surrounding Hampshire countryside with much to offer the visitor - Jane Austen country, the New Forest etc. - both close at hand and further afield.
