Ladies Festivals in Namur
Namur, gateway to the Ardennes, has a totally different landscape to the rest of Belgium. Situated on the banks of the River Meuse, this ancient town is an ideal place for a weekend break. Take the cable car which rises to 2200 metres to visit the citadel, a perfect example of a 17th century fortress. The guided walking tour of the old town makes the most of its 2000 years of history. Enjoy a drink at one of the many cafes in the Place du Marche aux Legumes.
Alternatively, you can take a boat trip to Dinnant to visit the magnificent Grotto. The journey takes you through six locks and gives you the opportunity to admire the Jambes bridge, the castle of the Dukes of Ninese, the rocks of Frenes and so much more.
You have a choice of two hotels, both in the 3* category.
The Beauregard is situated on the banks of the river with its own separate complex of casino, bars and restaurants.
