Ladies Festivals in Antwerp

Antwerp

Antwerp, famous for its diamonds, is a magnificent city, a delightful mixture of old and new. This can be seen in its wealth of architecture such as the medieval castle, the Gothic cathedral and the renaissance city hall which dominate the old city. The newer part is around the port area, where you can stroll along the river on raised pedestrian walkways. The city has a rich artistic history and the Royal Museum of Fine Arts houses some 2500 works by mainly Dutch and Flemish Masters.

It is an ideal place for a weekend break as there is so much to see. Visit the old city as well as the 19th century centre. Watch diamonds being cut and polished in one of the main diamond centres in Europe.

Relax with a beer or a glass of wine and watch the city's life go by at one of the many cafes in the Groenplaats, the Market Square, the Sukkerrui or the pedestrian walks along the river.

We offer a choice of two hotels: the 4* Corinthia with its stylish glass architecture is situated close to the city centre and offers spacious rooms with ensuite bathroom, direct-dial telephone, TV with video films and minibar. Alternatively, the 3* Novotel is located in its own grounds just outside the city centre. All rooms are very well appointed and have private bathroom, colour TV with satellite channels and direct-dial telephone.
